The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships and closing deals. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events and participating in trade shows, the sales specialist must be both approachable and professional in order to help us extend our global reach and impact. Objectives of this role
- • Represent the company with a comprehensive understanding of its offerings
- • Maximize sales performance by establishing strong client relationships and gaining insight to their needs and lifestyles
- • Achieve weekly, monthly and annual sales and activity quotas
- • Generate leads by committing to customer service and building relationships
- • Adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
- • Conduct incisive and insightful research of markets and competitors
- • Represent the brand in a professional manner that results in repeat business and a positive customer experience
- • Identify lead opportunities as well as the potential for upsells
- • Meet or surpass sales quota expectations
- • Speak with customers to understand their needs and resolve any issues
Responsibilities
- • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company and its products
- • Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions can address them
- • Generate leads and grow existing relationships by maintaining an accurate, detailed client book and developing an active, repeat customer base
- • Make cold calls or perform warm outreach, using outside-the-box thinking to develop new and unique sales tactics
- • Schedule and conduct software demos
- • Work with account executives to design industry-specific outreach efforts
- • Utilize CRM tools to ensure standard processes throughout all sales stages
- • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
- • Regularly interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right products and services for them
- • Effectively utilize industry software and technology to improve the customer experience
- • Participate in training and seek opportunities to improve operations
- • Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of products and services to answer customer questions and determine appropriate solutions
Compensation
- $60K base salary (full time, contract) + commission
Required skills and qualifications
- • Remote Position
- • Preferred candidate resides in Texas (US Citizen)
- • Must be willing to occasionally meet in person
- • Sales experience within a similar industry
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- • Experience working with CRM platforms
- • Experience closing enterprise-level deals
- • Ability to analyze business opportunities and assess situations effectively
- • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time
- • Attend tradeshows and networking events
- • Impeccable customer-service skills, especially in high-stress situations
- • Strong business acumen and sense of ethics
- • Excellent problem-solving skills
- • Ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts
Preferred skills and qualifications
- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
